To Educate or Not to Educate

To be or not to be; that is the question! In his acclaimed work, Hamlet, William Shakespeare coined a catch phrase that has stood the test of time.  Do we ever grow weary of hearing it?  Wordless Wednesdays this week had an image with the words “to educate”.  I used that graphic because it caused me to think of the catch phrase immediately.  I literally said it in my head when I saw the image.  From there I briefly reflected upon William Shakespeare and thought of the impact he had on our education as a nation.  Shakespeare and his work have been studied by millions of students and will continue to be on the required reading list for generations to come. While the mediums have evolved to deliver the content, education is still the key to growing the mind.  Just as food fuels the body, so knowledge expands the mind. So whether you are reading via Kindle, old dog earred pages, computer screen, youtube video, or watching a play, learn something new today!
